Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead our
Supply Chain operations and ensure the smooth flow of materials,
information, and products through our supply chain network. The ideal
candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management,
with expertise in inventory management, logistics, and process
optimization. This role will be responsible for coordinating with
internal teams, external vendors, and logistics partners to drive
operational excellence and meet customer demand.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of the Supply Chain operations, including
procurement, inventory management, warehousing, and distribution.
Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives to optimize the
efficiency and effectiveness of the supply chain network. Collaborate
with cross-functional teams, including procurement, manufacturing,
sales, and finance, to align supply chain activities with business
objectives. Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock levels
while minimizing excess inventory and carrying costs. Negotiate
contracts and agreements with suppliers, vendors, and logistics
partners to secure favorable terms and pricing. Monitor key
performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track operational
performance and identify areas for improvement. Implement process
improvements and best practices to streamline operations and reduce
costs. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry
standards related to supply chain operations. Lead and develop a team
of supply chain professionals, providing coaching, mentorship, and
guidance as needed.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business
Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Proven
experience in supply chain management, with a minimum of [X] years of
experience in a similar role. Strong understanding of supply chain
principles and practices, including inventory management, logistics,
procurement, and distribution. Excellent analytical and
problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets
and draw actionable insights. Proficiency in supply chain software and
systems, such as ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and inventory
management tools. Demonstrated leadership and management skills, with
the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve results.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to
collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Detail-oriented
with a focus on accuracy and precision in all aspects of work. Ability
to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple
priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
Professional certifications in supply chain management or related
fields (e.g., APICS, CSCMP). Experience with Lean Six Sigma or other
continuous improvement methodologies. Knowledge of international trade
and customs regulations. Familiarity with e-commerce and omnichannel
distribution strategies. Previous experience in the [specific industry
